Hellooo
Anyone know any decent and CHEAP hairdressers in central Birmingham? Need to get an appointment booked for fri, if possible, in town. Thanks in advance! I'm wanting somewhere for less than £30 if possible for a cut.

A tip to get cheap cuts is to ask if they charge the same if you don't have your hair washed by them. Some places will charge less as all you are doing is having a cut and it's less work for them.

You can also try a barbers. Same sort of training (some of them) but cheaper. Depends on how complex a cut you want.

I go to hush hair (was supposed to be there today, but had to reschedule!). They do a treatment on my hair which means that for at least a fortnight (even after several washes by me) I don't look like a Haystack.

If you want to risk just turning up and hoping they can fit you in, I can heartily recommend the Supercuts on New Street (opposite the Post Office). They're cheap and Derek does amazing 'dos.

I recommend turning up before about 3.30, as they close at 5.30 and do get quite busy after 4.00...
